How it stacks up
Florida real estate exam prep is a market with a lot of monthly plans and add-ons. Here’s what you’re actually paying for with each option.
Provider prices vary and change. See our verified, dated comparisons: vs CompuCram, vs Gold Coast, and vs Lexawise.
$39.99 buys you the whole app: every question, every study mode, and every content update while the app is maintained. No subscription. No tiers. No upsells.
Pricing FAQ
Is $39.99 really all I pay?+
Yes. One purchase, one price, lifetime access on iPhone, Android, and the web. No subscription, no premium tier, no "Pro" version locked behind another paywall.
Do I have to install an app, or can I buy and study in a browser?+
You can do the whole thing in a browser. Sign up at app.passfloridarealestate.com, take the free diagnostic, and check out there. The web app has the same question bank and the same study modes as the iPhone and Android apps.
The purchase is tied to your account, not to the device you bought on. Buy in the browser and the phone app unlocks when you sign in; buy on your phone and the browser unlocks the same way. You never pay twice.
What is the difference between the web app and the mobile app?+
Content and pricing are identical. The difference is the screen and offline access: the iPhone, iPad, and Android apps study fully offline once their content is on the device, and the browser app needs a connection. Most students use both, a laptop at a desk and a phone in line somewhere, with progress syncing between them.
Do I get content updates forever?+
Yes. When Florida updates its statutes (which happens roughly every legislative session), the question bank gets reviewed and updated. You get all of those updates, free, automatically, for as long as the app exists.
Can I share my account with a study partner?+
One license is one user. The diagnostic and readiness tracking are personalized, so sharing an account would give both of you noisy study signals. At $39.99, separate accounts keep each student's progress clean.
Does it work for the Florida broker exam, or just sales associate?+
Pass Florida currently covers the Florida real estate sales associate exam, which is the entry-level license. The broker exam is on our roadmap and will be a separate license when it ships.
What if I'm in pre-licensing class and just want practice questions?+
Pass Florida is built for the state exam, but our 1,142 questions cover the topics on the FREC-mandated 63-hour pre-licensing curriculum. A lot of students use it alongside their pre-license course for extra drill, which is a great use of it. The diagnostic shows which course chapters you have actually internalized.
Is Pass Florida built for the Florida-specific portion of the exam?+
Yes. Pass Florida is designed for the Florida sales associate exam, including Florida statutes, FREC rules, escrow handling, license law, and the other Florida-specific areas candidates need to practice. Every question in Pass Florida is Florida-specific and mapped to the official 19-topic content outline.
Does it work offline?+
The iPhone, iPad, and Android apps support offline study after their content is available on the device. The browser app requires an internet connection. When you sign in and reconnect, supported progress syncs across your devices.
Use the free tools first, then pay when the value is obvious.
The right order protects the student. Check readiness, try Florida-style wording, drill math, and then use the app when you know exactly what you need to fix.
Pass Florida is an independent exam-prep tool, not a DBPR-approved 63-hour pre-license course, and not legal, tax, or licensing advice. It does not guarantee a passing result.
