We Built the Exam Prep App We Wished Existed
Pass Florida exists because the gap between practice and the real exam is too wide — and existing apps aren't closing it.
The Problem We Saw
Nearly 50% of first-time Florida Real Estate Exam takers fail. Retakers pass at an even lower rate — only about 31 to 36%. These numbers haven't improved in years.
We looked at why, and the answer was clear: existing exam prep apps use easy questions. Students practice with basic recall questions, score 90% on practice tests, walk into the real exam with false confidence, and fail.
The real exam tests application of concepts — scenario-based questions at Bloom's Taxonomy Level 3 and above. Most apps test at Level 1-2. That gap is why smart, dedicated students keep failing.
Our Approach
Pass Florida closes the gap between practice and the real exam. Every one of our 850+ questions is written at application level — the same difficulty level as the actual state exam.
But hard questions alone aren't enough. We built a Confidence Calibration Engine that tracks the gap between how sure you feel and how accurate you actually are. This solves the dangerous overconfidence problem that causes so many failures.
We added 6 study modes because people learn differently. Some need short quiz bursts during lunch breaks. Others want to drill specific topics. Some learn best through spaced repetition. We built for all of them.
What We Stand For
Accuracy over everything
Every question, explanation, and feature is designed to match the real Florida Real Estate Exam. We don't take shortcuts, and we don't simplify things that shouldn't be simplified.
Science-backed learning
Our study methods — confidence calibration, spaced repetition, and interleaved practice — are rooted in cognitive science research, not guesswork.
Student success first
We measure success by one metric: whether our students pass the exam. Every feature, update, and decision is made with that outcome in mind.
